Announcement: Loma Linda Dermatology

Bigger and better! At California Skin Institute, we are pleased to announce our newest locations in Loma Linda & Beaumont, CA as of December 17, 2019. Loma Linda Dermatology specializes in all areas of skin care including medical dermatology, Mohs micrographic surgery for skin cancer, facial reconstruction and minimally invasive cosmetic surgery. Welcome to the CSI family Dr. Kenneth Dale Macknet, Jr., Dr. Cathy Macknet and Dr. Lavonne Meadows!

Dr. Dale Macknet is a board-certified dermatologist, practicing medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology in the Inland Empire since 2000. Dr. Macknet holds an academic appointment as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at Loma Linda University and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He has extensive experience in facial reconstruction following cancer surgery, diagnosis and treatment of difficult skin diseases, and treatment of psoriasis and other inflammatory disorders of the skin. Dr. Macknet is the author of several widely-referenced publications and currently conducts clinical research on a variety of skin diseases.

Dr. Cathy Macknet is one of the handful of board-certified, fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeons in the Inland Empire, specializing in all aspects of surgical and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Macknet is an expert in skin cancer surgery, facial reconstruction, and minimally invasive cosmetic surgery. After graduating summa cum laude with honors from La Sierra University, Dr. Macknet continued her medical education at Loma Linda University Medical Center where she completed her doctoral degree, internship, and dermatology residency. Following residency, she completed her fellowship in Mohs Micrographic Surgery and cosmetic surgery at the California Skin Institute in Mountain View, California.

Dr. LaVonne Meadows is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical dermatology and cancer detection and treatment. She completed medical school, internship and dermatology residency at Loma Linda University and practiced for several years at the VA Hospital in Loma Linda before joining Dr. Dale and Cathy Macknet in 2018. She currently holds faculty appointments at Loma Linda University and University of California Riverside and enjoys teaching the residents. When not practicing dermatology, she enjoys spending time with her three children and husband, David.
