California Skin Institute Adds Two More Southern California Locations
California Skin Institute (CSI) is pleased to announce two more dermatology mergers in Southern California with the practices of Carmen Capodanno, MD in San Pedro and Ali Lashgari, MD in Encinitas.
Dr. Capodanno is a board certified dermatologist who received his MD from the University of California – San Francisco and trained in dermatology at Harbor – UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
Recently, he was elected President of the Los Angeles Metropolitan Dermatologic Association and served for seven years as a board member. He also serves as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California – Los Angeles. Dr. Capodanno will continue to practice full time and his practice will be renamed “>CSI – San Pedro.
Dr. Lashgari is a board certified dermatologist specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Dr. Lashgari received his Bachelor of Science with honors from California Institute of Technology (Caltech) in Pasadena, CA and his Medical Degree from University of California, San Diego (UCSD). After completing an internship at Yale-New Haven Hospital, he returned to San Diego for a dermatology residency at UCSD Medical Center.
Dr. Lashgari is a fellow of American Society of Dermatology Surgery and is the past President of the San Diego Society of Dermatology Surgery. Dr. Lashgari will continue to practice and his office will be renamed CSI – Encinitas.
