Leon Lubianker, M.D. Inc. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of skin diseases, including skin allergies, eczema, psoriasis, facial spots, and skin cancer. We are excited to welcome Dr. Leon Lubianker and his highly skilled team to the CSI family.
Dr. Leon Lubianker is a board-certified dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology. He grew up in St. Paul Minnesota and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry cum laude. He received his Medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did a rotating internship with an emphasis in laboratory medicine and pathology at the University of Minnesota affiliated hospitals. Dr. Lubianker completed his residency at the University of Washington in Seattle and subsequently won a dermatology foundation fellowship to study at Yale. He worked at Santa Teresa Kaiser Permanente for two years and became head of the department during his second year. Dr. Lubianker has been in private practice for 38 years in Gilroy, CA. He was Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford for 31 years. His interests are in general dermatology, skin cancer, and approach to pigmented lesions.
Avis Chiu, PA-C, is a Stanford-trained Physician Assistant with dual licenses in Acupuncture and holistic medicine. She speaks fluent Mandarin and Taiwanese. Avis practices medical and cosmetic dermatology and she sees both pediatric and adolescent patients. Her medical dermatology experience includes treating various skin conditions such as acne, contact dermatitis, eczema, hemangioma, keratosis pilaris, warts, actinic keratosis, rosacea, various skin infections and psoriasis.
